To run for a political position during Election Week, you must fall under all of the guidelines listed below.
1. The candidate must check NationStates and and maintain a reasonable amount of activity within NationStates.
2. The candidate must visit NationStates regularly for at least 2 weeks before voting commences.
3. The candidate must have had no previous affiliation with any major invader regions.
4. The candidate must have participated in conversations on the RMB and must continue to do so while in the position.
5. The candidate must have read and understood, in full, the Constitution of Apple Island.
6. The candidate cannot have two positions already if they want to apply for a position, unless they are willing to resign from one.
7. The candidate can run for up to two positions, and if they already have only one, they are allowed to run for one more, unless they are willing to resign from the position.
8. The candidate must have a valid account on the forums already established.
